HomeWork: Week 28


Pets: are they worth the added housework? How much extra work around the house (besides the work required for their regular care) do your pets create for you? Do, or did, you factor in housework when deciding to get a pet? Do the benefits outweight the headches, at least on most days


Right now.. no.. lol.. (don’t forget, Danny just got sprayed by a skunk)  .. But yes.. there is more work involved.. Danny (the dog) and Baby (the cat) are both long haired animals.. and they sure do shed alot.. and we have hardwood floors.. so sometimes I swear, their fur is running from the broom..


We have always had cats.. so Baby was not a big deal to us.. she was born in our home.  She is now 10 years old. 


As for Danny.. we had always wanted a dog.. I love dogs.. but we lived in subsidized housing.. so when we finally moved out and into a regular apartment.. (david was 5) that is just what we did.. and at first we almost regretted it.. even David wanted to give him back after he chewed on that 20th toy figurine.. and eating my brand new hearing aids didn’t help.. lol..


But we love Danny and he is well worth all the heartache.. lol.. He is a part of this family.. and it is hard for me to believe that his is 10 years old..


We also have a fish that I am not attached to.. Anna got her for her last birthday from a friend.. and the chickens.. I am glad they are outdoor animals.. lol

Do fish have feelings?  I believe all living things have feelings.. they can feel.. however.. it is not the same as our feelings.  How do you release anger? Yes.. after it builds up for a bit.

Do you trust others easily? I think I have a good sense of who to trust and who not to trust

What was your favourite toy as a child? My Mrs. Beasley doll (Family affair)

What do you look for in a boy/girl? Alot of the qualities in my hubby.. kindness, generous, loves children, Bible believing, strong in his belief, hardworking, oh there is way too many qualities..

What are your nicknames? Don’t really have one.. although when I was younger I was Little Linda

How are you today?  Ok.. was emotional a bit this morning but my online friends cheered me up

Scary movies or happy endings? depends on my mood.. I love a good romantic comedy and I love a good scary mystery type movie.. (no slashers.. ugh)

Summer or winter?  Summer.. I would love winter.. but I hate ice (fell on someone’s shoveled steps once.. they had let it ice up.. and I slid down and I swear ..my tailbone hurt for months
